Who We Are

ScopemeterRepair.com LLC is an evolving company, first existing as an extension of a local computer and electronics service in rural Southern Missouri. As the demand for affordable, reliable repair services for Fluke Scopemeters began to climb, the business was eventually separated from its parent company to become an independent service facility.

As a family-owned and operated business, ScopemeterRepair.com LLC is able to give personal attention and care to each customer while providing high-quality repairs with lasting results. The key to maintaining affordable service fees is good management of resources and low overhead. For example, we recycle packing matter that is reusable for shipping instead of throwing it away and purchasing new material. This is just one way we work hard to bring you low prices for quality services. We don't keep junk, but we don't waste good resources either.

How We Got Here

An old saying says, "Necessity is the mother of invention." At ScopemeterRepair.com LLC, we try to think outside the box and approach problems from a new perspective. In 2009, I (Joel Friend, Owner and Technician of ScopemeterRepair.com LLC) had a 123 Scopemeter with the common horizontal line problem. After talking with Fluke and discovering the cost of a new display was extremely high, I sent inquiries all over the country and even into Europe and Asia asking if any LCD repair company could fix my display. All the answers were the same: NO. One night as I lay in bed thinking about the problem, God, in an instant, showed me how to fix the problem. Now it doesn't matter if you believe in God or not, but the fact that this company exists is proof that he is involved in the affairs of mankind. As a result of the "discovery", ScopemeterRepair.com LLC was founded.

Since that time, we have repaired hundreds of instruments for individuals, businesses, educational facilities, and even the military. If you have a Fluke meter that is in need of services or repair, please do not hesitate to give us a call or send an e-mail. Contact information can be found at the top of any page on this website.

Where Are We Going?

We face challenges every day that demand the "new approach" concept. We continuously look for ways to improve our methods, materials, and tooling to ensure we are using the most up-to-date procedures possible for greatest reliability and durability. We look for new opportunities in aftermarket products specifically relating to Fluke Scopemeters and have developed some custom replacement parts for several applications. 10-20% of our time and resources are put back into our work, researching and developing new ideas and evaluating our course for the future.
