Tips & Pointers

If the analyzer will not turn on when a known good battery is installed and/or the unit is plugged into the charger adapter, it is possible the keypad contact foil could be defective. Replace the foil and try again. If the problem persists, further diagnosis and repair is necessary.
If the analyzer turns on briefly then immediately shuts off, the battery may be bad and must be replaced. Disconnect the battery and try powering the analyzer from the charger alone. If it turns on, then the battery is likely at fault. If it still shuts off, further diagnosis and repair is necessary.
Erratic or unstable waveforms or inaccurate or no channel readings may indicate one or more of the input terminal jacks (bananas or BNCs) are cracked or broken. The input terminals are part of a larger assembly and the unit must be professionally serviced to correct the issue.
